The Communications Consultant will report to the Communications Team Lead.
Overview
ECG contractors are held to the same high standard. We expect every contractor at ECG to be a part of the team and ready to jump in and help. There are always going to be changes to the plan and every contractor will be asked to do something that might normally be out of their job duties listed below.
Communications Consultants are experts when it comes to all things communications, including internet, TV, and phone services. These consultants are tasked with introducing new services and deals to customers and ultimately matching their needs with new products. This is a sales and commission only role.
This is an independent contracted position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Create leads by finding interested potential customers

Social Media
Network Marketing
Educate potential customers on the new products and services that are available
Find the potential customer’s needs for communication services through conversation
Match the customer’s needs wit the services that best fit their needs
Enroll the customer through online portal
Follow up with customer to gather all required info and ensure they are happy
Get referrals and find new potential customers
Required Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills
Ability to talk to anyone
Passion and knowledge around TV, phone and internet services
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Very competitive with a drive to win
Strong attention to detail
Independent and self starter, always looking for something to do
Must be available nights and weekends, that is when people are able to talk
Training and Performance Check-ins
Every contractor will go through an extensive training and performance process when the first start. Feedback will be given almost daily for the first two to three weeks. Performance check ins with happen once a week with the team lead, campaign manager, or ops specialist to talk about the consultants numbers and performance and how to improve and grow. Every consultant is expected to reach out to other consultants and managers to gain insights on how to improve their lead gen activities and closing percentage.

Energy Consultants are experts when it comes to all things energy: focusing on solar, energy efficiency, batter back up, and car chargers. These consultants are tasked with introducing new services and deals to customers and ultimately matching their needs with new products. This is a sales and commission only role.
